Avery Ehlers has been doing technical theater for the past seven years. She is currently attending the University of North Carolina School of the Arts to work towards her M.F.A in Scenic Art. Avery was heavily involved with Whitman College's Harper Joy Theater during her time in undergraduate studies, graduating as a theater major with Magna Cum Laude honors. Most recently, she was the scenic and props designer for Walla Walla Summer Theater's Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (2025) and the scenic designer for Harper Joy Theater's Doubt: A Parable (2025). Avery has worked for a variety of companies such as Seaworld San Diego, The Old Globe, the Joan B. Kroc Center, Young Actors Theater, and Steele Canyon High School.
